Dr. Bunmi Bajomo, a formidable leader with over two decades of experience spanning corporate, investment, private, and business banking, now steers SOAR Capital as its Group CEO

As Group CEO, Dr. Bunmi Bajomo brings to SOAR Capital a wealth of over 20 years of expertise across the financial services spectrum, encompassing corporate, investment, private, and business banking, trade finance, credit administration, stockbroking, and portfolio and asset management. Her extensive background includes serving as Chief Operating Officer and Group Head of Corporate Banking at Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI), and prior to that, leading corporate banking for manufacturing at First Bank of Nigeria, with purview over its Nigerian and international subsidiaries. Earlier in her career, she made her mark at institutions like Coronation Merchant Bank (Divisional Head & Director of Corporate Banking), Citibank Nigeria (where she notably established the local corporate business), Stanbic IBTC (Head of Business Banking), and Guaranty Trust Bank. Dr. Bajomo began her journey as a research analyst at First Bank of Nigeria, and today is also a respected economics analyst on Nigerian television and radio, alongside being an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and a chartered stockbroker/authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
